Clearance Certificates
Once asbestos is identified at any site, a licenced contractor must safely remove it.
For any job removing asbestos from an area larger than ten squared metres in NSW, a
licenced assessor must provide a Clearance Certificate in accordance with Work, Health and Safety laws. Hazardous Removal Company can provide just that.
Only an independent occupational consultant or Licenced Asbestos Assessor can certify a
clearance. While clearances are often provided in levelled tiers, HRC’s licenced assessors are proud to advertise an ability to provide a highest-tier Visual Clearance, which involves a complete and thorough inspection of the dust and debris in the area from which the
asbestos has been removed. Where deemed necessary, they may require assessing the
quality of the air for any lingering fibres.
Our assessors are professional, efficient, friendly, and will take the time to explain the
process stage-by-stage, which uses the most up-to-date equipment and procedure. We will help ensure your area has been properly decontaminated so that it is entirely safe for
unprotected personnel to re-enter.
Any faults in this process could leave the party responsible for the safety of the area liable
to strict and forceful legal action. Luckily, our assessors are experts in the field of asbestos
and all hazardous materials.
The report our assessors provide will include all the information necessary to identify our
assessor, including name and licence number. You’ll receive it with no unnecessary delay, so your site can keep the work moving.
