Terrigal Asbestos Removal Project Details
Hazardous Removal Company successfully removed 120m² of flat asbestos sheets from the external walls of a home in Terrigal. This project was particularly challenging due to the height of the external walls. Because the removal exceeded 10m², we were required to lodge a SafeWork NSW notification prior to commencing.
The removal necessitated six licensed asbestos removal technicians. Upon arrival, we completed the necessary paperwork and conducted a toolbox talk before starting the setup.
Our team then set up the site to ensure minimal contamination during the removal process.
Due to the height of the walls and eaves, we had to set up temporary scaffolding to safely access and remove the asbestos cladding. The reason for this removal was that the sheets were damaged and needed to be replaced with non-hazardous cladding.
Upon completion, a clearance certificate was provided by a third-party licensed hygienist.
